About this experience
From the 533-metre summit of Dois Irmãos you can see all of Ipanema and Leblon, the Lagoon, Christ the Redeemer, Pedra da Gávea and Rocinha. The trail starts at the top of Vidigal, reached by moto-taxi, and takes 40 minutes to an hour. It's short but has stone steps and steep stretches. On the way back we walk down through the community's alleys with a guide who lives there.
You can go at sunrise, in the morning, in the afternoon or for sunset. Sunrise is the most popular time and the busiest at the summit.
