About this experience
The Paraibuna, near Três Rios, is the most popular rafting river within reach of Rio de Janeiro. The run has a string of class III and IV rapids, stronger in the rainy season, with calm pools in between where you can swim. Before getting in the raft, the local operator's guides take you through paddling and safety training.
