About this experience

K2 is one of Rio's most sought-after climbs. It's about 145 metres in five fourth-grade pitches on the south face of Corcovado, looking out over the South Zone beaches. The route has a bit of everything: cracks, dihedrals, slab and the well-known moves called the Crucifix and the Swear Word. You top out at the feet of Christ the Redeemer, among the tourists who came up by train.
