About this experience
The Paineiras training crag is on the road of the same name, near Sumaré, on the way up Corcovado. It has boulders of about 20 metres with routes from grade 4 to 6, good for beginners and for training. The rock is sheltered and overhanging, so routes usually stay dry even in light rain. You can also practise crack climbing with trad gear.
