About this experience

The Prego, Funil and Morcego chimneys on Morro do Cantagalo are among Rio's first climbing routes. Until the 1980s they were a standard part of a climber's training. Chaminé do Prego is 55 metres long: you climb inside a wide crack, pushing with your back and feet against the walls. It ends at a viewpoint and you abseil back down.
