An easy climb among the buildings, with Christ and Sugarloaf in view.
Few people know there's a 164-metre rock hidden among Copacabana's buildings. Agulhinha do Inhangá is reached by a short trail and an easy second-grade climb to the top, with views of the beach, Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf. The name comes from Anhangá, a forest spirit in the Tupi language. In the 1970s the rock was reinforced with concrete to stop it rolling onto the buildings.
