About this experience

CEPI climbs the west face of Sugarloaf with a steel cable fixed along its whole length, first installed in 1952 and renewed since. You're clipped to the cable the entire time. It doesn't need climbing technique but does need good fitness: the first 100 metres are the steepest, with overhanging sections that tire your arms. You finish at the summit and ride the cable car down.
